Welcome to the Fumoi FAQ page. Here you’ll find quick help for setup, Wi-Fi connection, accessories, and everyday use of your Fumoi self-cleaning cat litter box.

1) How to connect Wi-Fi?

  1. For first connection, press and hold the Wi-Fi button for 3 seconds to enter discovery mode.

  2. Open the Fumoi app to discover the device. Make sure you allow the app Location and Bluetooth permissions so it can search for the device.

  3. Enter the same Wi-Fi name and password used by your phone.
    Note: the device supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only (not 5GHz).

  4. While connecting, the Wi-Fi light blinks on the panel.

  5. After a successful connection, the Wi-Fi button stays solid white.

Quick tips if it doesn’t connect:

  • Confirm your router is broadcasting 2.4GHz

  • Move the litter box closer to the router during setup

  • Double-check the password (no extra spaces)

2) How to replace cat litter liners?

When inserting the liner/bag, use your hands to smooth the bag all around the bin so it sits flat with no folds.
A flat liner helps prevent slipping, keeps the edges clean, and makes removal easier.

 

3) How to use and install deodorant fragrance tablets?

  1. Locate the deodorant tablet slot/holder (commonly near the waste compartment area).

  2. Insert one deodorant tablet into the holder and close it securely.

  3. Replace the tablet when the scent fades (timing depends on usage and room conditions).

Important:

  • Do not place tablets directly into the litter or where they can get wet.

  • Keep them away from pets and children when not installed.

 

4) How to replace the washable water-proof pad?

  1. Power off the unit.

  2. Remove the waste bin/tray and take out the waterproof pad.

  3. Replace it with a clean, dry pad (or wash and fully dry the original before reinstalling).

  4. Reinstall it flat (no wrinkles), then reinsert the bin and close everything properly.

Tip: Always ensure the pad is completely dry before reassembly.

 

5) Installation instructions for the litter box

  1. Open the box and take out all accessories.

  2. Install the feet. Pay attention to alignment and insert them according to the L / R markings.

  3. Install the drum correctly, matching the slots so it sits in place properly.

  4. Plug in the power supply.

  5. Connect to Wi-Fi using the steps in the Wi-Fi FAQ above.
